Re: So lets talk about the Red Dawn remake
It's not surprising they use the same plot as Homefront since the script for that was penned by John Milius who of course made Red Dawn.

Re: Suicide bus bombing in Bulgaria
Oh hey, I found someone on the internet advocating murder of innocents on an unheard scale in response to other deaths! Do I get a prize? Seriously, Julhelm? Your answer to an issue as complicated, nuanced, and murky as Islamic international terrorism is to nuke a sovereign country and kill more ci...

Re: Suicide bus bombing in Bulgaria
Yes, which country will win the invasion lottery this time as you chase a bunch of non state actors around like the Keystone Cops with Carrier Battle Groups? Ideally the right one, Saudi Arabia, followed by prompt carpet-nuking and salting of the scorched sands. But they're Good Guys (TM) so that'l...

for anyone relocation within the same county or metro area should be a required willingness when looking for a new job, which is why one of the things that disgusts me about the "ownership society" is how home ownership basically hobbles your mobility to acquire good jobs with a very poor...

Re: Generation Y less likely to drive
My preconceived notions are based on the fact that I must have sent out about a hundred and fifty job applications a year since 2008 and been invited in for three interviews, none of which resulted in an offer. So what? That's a pathetic rate of application and actually a fairly high rate of uptake...

Re: Generation Y less likely to drive
Very few companies will hire you for a job driving their vehicles before you're 25 for insurance reasons, doubly so if you haven't got a lot of practical experience behind the wheel. Says who? I have several friends who have been driving professionally since 18. Several of these were truck drivers ...

Re: Physical assault by McDonald's for wearing Digital Eye G
Wow, really? See, here in America, you call the cops when assaulted, and they do this thing called "investigating." It involves interviewing possible victims, attackers, and witnesses. Then they collect evidence and decide whether or not to prosecute. It doesn't require "resources&qu...

private dentists are trying to do unnecessary care, such as putting fillings on cavities that other dentists don’t see. Still, Reitz says the pressures on dentists at corporate dental practices seem more intense. This. All of the private dentists I know of around here has that down as SOP. Last tim...

Re: Day Z, the post apocolyptic zombie survival game
Last night (~10 hours ago) the servers were all going up and down, I think they're rolling out some server side patches at the moment. Are you using Worrom's Day Z Updates and the ArmAII Launcher to ensure everything is installed and configured right? Yeah I am. No luck though. Always "waiting...

And all of the above is still conjecture. I'd rather we know for sure before we go in and bomb the shit out of the government. It worked so well in Libya, after all.

Swedish Minister of Culture in 'racist circumcision outrage'
Linka Swedish minister of culture Lena Adelsohn Liljeroth's participation in a "racist spectacle" in which she carved up a cake depicting a naked black woman has sparked outrage and prompted calls for the minister's dismissal. "In our view, this simply adds to the mockery of racism i...

Just because parts of an operation are subsidized does not mean the nuclear power part is, nor does it make them "quasi state cartels". I want you to prove how they are cartels, and how they are quasi-state. And while you are at it, name those "artificial barriers" as well. Well...

However, not all Swedes on this board share his position on other aspects of the state of the country; I for one see it as reactionary, right-wing and xenophobic, and would contest his conclusions as I have before. It's reactionary to acknowledge the fact that we now have such rampant numbers of bo...
