Re: Publius' Lost Content
It may not be the prettiest thing ever, but the entirety of A Test of Wills has been sitting on my hard drive as a bunch of htm files for more than a decade. Download link to zip is here: https://www.4shared.com/s/f-MHjm-mvca.

Re: Star Wars games today.
I'll always think fondly of the X-Wing games, but I agree that the dogfights could have been more swift and lethal (you know something is really off if a fighter can survive a direct missile hit and fly like nothing was wrong). At best, all that shielding should do is allow a fighter to survive one ...

Re: Something big
Question about Naval Station Validusia: was it inspired by the Imperial dry dock that appeared in cutscenes from X-Wing ? I certainly got that impression when staring at your artwork. PS: I, for one, would really like to see how the Missle Boat turns out (thanks for sticking with the original sleek ...

Re: Let's Invalidate Some EU
To be technically anal, the ANH opening crawl does not actually state that the Rebel Alliance itself scored its first victory. Rather, that a bunch of spaceships from a hidden fortress won their first victory. There is still room for other Rebels not based on Yavin IV to be out and about kicking Imp...

kk. On or about July 9, 2008, VAN DER KOLK sent an e-mail to a third-party, entitled “funny chat-log.” In the e-mail, VAN DER KOLK copied the text of a previous online conversation between himself and ORTMANN, in which VAN DER KOLK had stated, “we have a funny business . . . modern days pirates :)”...

Re: The Clone Wars Season 4.
The minimalism in CW is getting ridiculous. We are fighting for a planet and we see less than 1000 combatants on screen. Why are 80% of the combatants just footsoldiers? Where are the mechanized vehicles? Apart from the Jellyfish and the cyclone-making machine, there was none... and the Mon Cals lo...

Perhaps you can finish up that Imperial Fleet Carrier you worked on a while back? PS: Have you ever considered inserting stats and short descriptions in each vehicle page on your website? I think it would be handy to check up on the intended firepower of a Bellator or an Assertor without having to d...

That Mav/Laker game was a complete disaster for the Lakers; the least they could have done was not have two of their players ejected for flagrant fouls in the 4th Quarter.

Re: Are "The Clone Wars" and "The Force Unleashed" Canon?
On a slight aside, I do find it funny when people have a big problem with Starkiller being too powerful a force user, since most of the people who make the biggest deal about it are also the ones who are fully aware of EU Palpatine being able to mind-control whole planets and blow up entire fleets ...

Re: Was the Republic ever NOT screwed up?
As a government that managed to exist for 25,000 years, the vast majority of the Galactic Republic's wars would have been nothing more than historical footnotes in the grand scheme of things. The occasional protracted war would come along, and sometimes the Core Worlds and other economic interests s...

Ah well.... I never really thought highly of the freak artist accident called Anon 3 anyway.
By the way, I like how the underside of Crv 2 is turning out. Does that ship have a name yet?

To be honest, I kinda prefer Evillejedi's Anon3 design over yours, Fractal. Visually, Evillejedi's has more of a literal "edge" to it while the other design looks kinda blunt. That's just my personal preference, though.

The 501st... Battalion?
For those who don't check up on the Official Site all that often, its Clone Wars section now has a set of "cards" for characters appearing in Season 3. Among them is a card for Captain Rex, who is stated to be commander of the 501st Clone Trooper Battalion. Aside from previously-establishe...

Re: Something big
Taskforce Cruiser/Hauler - that's an odd one. The modularity probably wouldn't be much, from what I can see - it's still going to be a large box, with more or less windows and docking bays probably. Star Galleon is also an interesting concept; I like weird and overlooked auxiliaries. Another oddbal...

Moreover, it uses the term "unit", which usually refers to a battalion or regiment, not an individual solider. To be honest; I kinda like the concept of the Kaminoans refering to their individual clones as units. That issue doesn't bother me in the least anyway, since ITW:AOTC states clea...

I absolutely love your work, fractal. Sorry for bothering you with a request, but I'd be interested in your take on the Modular Taskforce Cruiser. In particular, it would be interesting to see how you deal with some of its various modules (hospital, inquisition, observation, rescue, survey, and ect.)

OTOH, your hiding behind someone else' dogma doesn't change the fact that for the odds to be so severely imbalanced and the war not over in days or weeks, would require the active collusion by the -entire- Separatist forces in their own defeat. Or just by Darth Sidious and Darth Tyrannus. Read the ...

And it was 3 million clones because that is the Lucas acknowledged canon number. Completely wrong; Ryan Kaufman had to officially retract the 3 million number (which Lucas DIDN'T come up with) when everyone that had a brain complained about how pathetic that number was. Meanwhile, Count Dooku in th...
