Kerry's ending speech sounded nicer than Bush's. He *sounded* nicer than Bush, for once.

Bush:
"The transformational power of liberty"
"the mighty mountain"
"the valley of peace"

I'm waiting for Edwards to cream Cheney now.

"The future belongs to freedom"... What?

Kerry's initiatives only include fixing Bush's mistakes.

How trite.

"I'm a pretty calm guy, I don't take it personally."

Oh, right.

He did.

Kerry stutters at key times, and Bush is now stuttering ALL the time. But the fact is, Kerry just *looks* and *sounds* less appealing, and that's probably going to matter more, even though Bush just looks bad.
