I'd first change the subtitle for the movie. "Last Stand"? Last Stand is the place where you are desperate, clinging for life, and are giving it your last bit of strength. I was expecting humanity to encroach on the mutants. This was no Last Stand, at all. And I'd decrease the X-wank at th...

Its just my first thought to your response. I just wonder how citizens would feel if their neighbors were not willing to stand up and fight for the freedom, yet demand the priveledges of that freedom later. It would cause resentment wouldn't it? Name one society which has experienced 100% military ...

Interestingly enough, one theory of how the bubonic plague spread throughout Europe so quickly deals with the fact that cats were being hunted down and killed by Christians who thought they were demon creatures. With a sharp decrease in the cat population, the rats who carried the Plague were able ...

I agree with the idea of a pen. Attach it to your house and secure it tightly, and make a small opening in the wall for the kitty to pass through whenever she wishes. Outdoors fun and security all in one package!

And to join the bandwagon, congrats WyrdNyrd!

Cats are creative things; no matter what situation they're put in, they can always seemingly find a way out.

May your kitten rest in peace.

A mass extinction of cats would result in a crapload of pests growing in the world; one of the main reasons we and cats decided to live together in the first place was because they were adept hunters and would lend their skills, killing mice and insects, while in return we could provide shelter and ...

Since I live in the city, cats are greatly preferred over dogs. Apartments are not good places to raise a big dog in... And on the subject of social intelligence, I have three cats who regularly hang around me, not to ask for a pet, not to ask for food, not to ask for any bit of attention, but to ju...

Congrats. :) As for punishment, I'll second Kendall's suggestion...looking way back when I was a kid, and seeing other kids in action, just paralyzing them for a sufficient amount of time seems to be enough, at least for minor offenses. Children want to move!! And when kept from that for a reason, t...

I've had this numerous times, with numerous speakers. And in my experience, it's always been the wire (jiggling with it in the early stages "fixed" the problem temporarily, but later it would just come back). I'd say your right speaker's gone kaput.

So, I'm watching SEED now. Other than a few laughable/odd parts, I didn't find it to be that bad as most of you said. Sure, it's no Cowboy Bebop, but it's entertaining. And this isn't the first sci-fi show to do physics-defying stuff like the fast movement of the ships/mechs. Then again, I'm up to 1...
