It's not? The main problem with the TNG movies and their lack of big stories came from being at the same time as DS9. If they had done some big stuff like how WOK introduced the Genesis device, or have a diplomatic incident with the Klingons like in TSFS and TVH it would've all messed with DS9's sto...

Kurn was officially adopted by Lorgh, wasn't he? He said that since he was so young when Mogh died at Khitomer he had been sent to live with Lorgh and was adopted by him, which is why everyone thought of him as Kurn son of Lorgh. Supposedly Lorgh told him the truth about his family at some point. It...

I figured the ENT Duras was TNG Duras' ancestor due to the same name, meaning he must have already had a child (since Archer killed him in the end of S2) or he wasn't the direct ancestor of TNG's Duras, maybe his great Uncle or something? Of course, there's the possibility there is no connection, bu...

The logic part I remember,, but what continuity did it shit on? I don't have it on DVD so I can't get a refresh. Mostly it's portrayal of Zeferam Cochrane as a drunken buffoon versus how he was portrayed in TOS. He did have like 200 years to experience a new age for mankind and give up drink...

I think the only confirmed one was Duras' ancestor, who got killed a few episodes later anyways. The lawyer being Martok's ancestor is just fan speculation because Maltzer was the actor (doesn't mean he's Martok's ancestor). Same with the Klingon scientist we see in S4, he's played by John Schuck bu...

Why would the Enterprise-D have even been designed in the Yesterday's Enterprise universe? It's not a dedicated warship, and has serious design flaws, so why would this (more aggressive) Federation build a ship so flawed, for which it has no need (city in space not being relevant when you need wars...

I thought that most of the uniforms in TMP were too pajama-ish, but I did like Kirk's Admiral uniform. I don't think that the one-piece suits we saw in TNG+ were bad really. I kind of wish they had stuck with that conceptual design for what the uniforms would look like in GEN and after though: http:...

Yep, there really was no demand for TNG movies like there was for TOS (since they were the first new Trek in 10 years when they started) since there was already enough Trek on TV at the time. They should've waited a few years to make us miss the TNG crew enough before bringing them back for some new...

B5 got 5 seasons, SG-1 got 10 (I still don't get why), X0files got a few more seasons than it should have, Sliders was like 4 seasons I think and BSG had 3 before being told they were only getting one more due to low ratings. So far the only modern Trek to last less than it's contracted run is ENT. ...

Well, I wouldn't say that DS9 and VOY flopped commercially. Yes they didn't get anywhere near the ratings TNG did in it's prime but they made it the full 7 year run, which is more than most other sci-fi shows can say other than Stargate SG-1, and it still mystifies me how that show lasted so long si...
