I bought a swiss napsack to carry my macbook last year. It works wonderfully not too much load and I minimize the amount of books I bring to school. I bought one of those slim case from the apple store to keep the computer in. I was doing my thesis at the time so I had to do a lot of work throughout...

Re: Approximating Euclidean Distance without Pythagoras?

Is there an easy way to approximate a Euclidean distance between two points ([x,y,z] and [x',y',z']) without resorting to exponents and radicals? The usual way is, obviously, a variation on the familiar two-dimensional Pythagorean theorem, which is √((x'-x)²+(y'-y)²+(z'-z)²). However, suppose you d...

Was that the season finale or is there more next week? I hope not cause there is still plenty of loose ends to wrap up. I don't know how Hiro learned to use his sword in a few hours though. I was expecting his father pulling a time stop or something. I also notice both Hiro's dad and Linderman (Nath...

Speaking of PP, did you see the one Buffalo had near the end of the 2nd period and let Ottawa get a 2-0 breakaway! I was lmao.

Afterwards the sens player faked a high sticking.. you could tell the announcer didn't want to talk about it since it was so obvious.

I heard a lot of fans left with over a minute remaining in the sabres game and couldn't get back in after they score

Two good games in a row by the sens.. this could end fast. I thought the sabres had it in the first. If the first goal had counted and the one off the post gone in :o

I would say by the repercussions of taking away the drug. How dependent the body is on the drug that is if you instantly take the drug away what's the severity, if any for the withdraw symptoms.

I would say cigarettes mainly because it's more a social thing and peer pressure for drinking alchol.

Funny, I don't see the distinction between ANN and this HTM system. From what I can gather it's just another NN probably with a different topology. I'll just wait and see what comes of it cause this whole article sounds like a big marketing stun.

Well I was thinking Peter hasn't absorbed Sylar's super hearing powers yet. Maybe he has to "turn it on"?

Looks like Sylar and Nathan is going to face off again! Can't wait to see how that turns out.

I'm still left wondering if Linderman has any powers.. he seem a bit too calm for a guy about to be shot.

Burden of proof is on you to prove that they are more than an organic tunnel network. And game mechanics are not admissible. Nice of you to avoid the question. Now are you going to back up that presuppose assumption that they are underground tunnels? Nydus Canal The precise origin of the Nydus Cana...

I would go with DOTD because I can at least try to hide out in a strong hold. But if the aliens find me i'm pretty much screwed. They killed so much in like 3 days, I fear what the earth would look like in 20 days.
