Dragon Strike Carrier WIP

Post by Fuzzy Modem »

An early WIP of a Dragon Strike Carrier. About 2 hours worth of work so far. It still needs alot of detail.

What do you think of the design so far?

Looks nice, although I would consider that more of a battle ship or cruiser than a carrier. I can't see any fighter bays or something simillar.

What's the scale on this thing?

And I much prefer solid designs like an ISD or the Pillar of Autumn. Makes for less easy breakage. :P Then again, I have the aesthetics sense of a brick wall, so don't listen to me.

It's a light carrier, say 300 yards long.

Could use a rear light source.

Looks great, though I first thought the fighter bays looked like missile racks to me...

Awesome! I like the look. But exposed fighterbays are BAD. They'd get blown to smithereens!

Only AFTER the fighters have launched and it no longer matters. :P

There's this thing called landing, you know...fighters usually do it when they run out of fuel? :P

We can just set that aside as alien asthetic design. :D

Very cool.

I remember a pic you did a while ago, it was a huge, REALLY wide pic of a huge battle for this movie. Do you still have it around, it went down with my old computer.

the overall shape is really cool. but i agree with antares that the spike in the front is out of place. in fact i think that all spiekes are out of place.
