Dark Times in Liberty City

Post by RogueIce »

Well, now that I got my PC version of GTA3, I can share with the world (or at least SDNet) my nice little screenshots from GTA3. Supposed to be somber and reflective and all that. Yeah. Anyway, here's my first set:

Dark Times in Liberty City

The city is in a state of shock after the devestating attack on a police convoy that left several officers dead, and the Callahan Bridge destroyed. Emergency services are still struggling to cope with the aftermath of this disaster, as Portland is left isolated from the rest of the city.

The first two are from the boardwalk thingy overlooking the river. The last two are from the bridge itself. All four were taken at "night" and during rainy conditions. Photos 1 and 4 during downfalls, and 2 and 3 in between downfalls. I got lucky on 2 because I hit "Print Screen" just as lightning flashed. :D

I like 'em anyway. :)

The first one is the best. Why won't you just let the guy face the thing instead of just having his head turn back? Monotony is not a good thing.

#2 doesn't look too somber.

Bah. It's supposed to be more thematic. The guy is "guarding" the bridge (y'know, like cops do, since he's in that skin). And he's just looking back at what happened.

I can't help it if it's the only way the game would let me see behind me! :P

Posing four of them in a row kinda makes it boring since they are all standing there with the same pose. Kinda like a statue!
