Dammit! Why, when this is a 4KB pic on my computer, won't this load as my Avatar?

Someone please inform me how to do that when I have no idea how to PhotoShop.

Strange. I can actually load something, which tries to be an image, and actually look at it's file information. (0x0, 0 bits per pixel, but JPEG format and 12 KB (11,976 bytes).)
For the record, I can save it to disk and view it fine in PSP. Here's a JPEG and a PNG I made of it.
JPG, 9.3 KB (9,443 bytes)
PNG, 20 KB (20,060 bytes)
And assuming you wish to it as an avatar here...
JPG, 5.5 KB (5,603 bytes)
PNG, 5.8 KB (5,938 bytes)
