Star Wars fan movie

Clicky 47 minutes. Acting is a little stiff at places, but for a fan film, it's pretty good so far.
It's Rogue, not Rouge!

Slartibartfast already posted a thread about this in PSW. He even mentioned the title of the film in the title of his thread. :P

I went through a lot of TFN's fanfilm archive a year or so ago. It's my general concensus that the movies either take place mainly in the forest, or they are technologically stunning with lots of CG- at the absence of plot. Anything over 15 minutes is going to be dull and pretentious. Good lightsaber duels are hare to come by. Dual lightsaber fighting was all the rage long before Episode II. Also, there are a hell of a lot of Jedi out there after the Great Purge.

One of my favorite SW fanfilms of all time is "Legacy of the Jedi", which you can watch here. It's got a simple plot (a good point, actually), but the actors deliver their lines properly, the special effects are competant, plus it contains one of the coolest moves I've ever seen in a fanflm duel.

Don't forget that the comedy pieces are always stiflingly unfunny. They're either a bunch of nonsense or idiotically juvenile.

I direct you again to Legacy of the Jedi. Not a comedy piece, but it's got a good moment.

All I know is that I tried downloading the film, and the DL stopped before I got to see a promised battle with a Corellian Cruiser
