Nuclear Tank

Post by Melchior »

Inspired by this thread.
This is the Wank-1 tank.
Powered by a nuclear reactor, and armed with nuclear shells, a GAU-8 and a tactical nuke (inside, for self-destruction).

Please, that's nothing. Fear the scout vehicle of the future: The Objective Interim Forward Scout Vehicle

Please note. That's a huge pic. Dial-up beware.[/img]

Here's to a certain mostly harmless nutcase.

That thing is really old. And while extremely wankish, it would have some problems with things like ground pressure.

The German WWII Maus tank was supposed to have been as tall as a cathedral and flatten houses by driving over them. How about putting a cathedral into that image for scale?

Theres no way it was as tall as a cathedral, more like a small house.

For reference, those main guns are supposed to be 280mm pocket battleship guns.

I'm just picturing how much that would cost to move. It makes me think of that platform that they use to move the space shuttle. It gets what, 2 feet per gallon of diesel fuel?
