I most probably won't find time to add any more cards for the next few days, however I already have some more cards in mind. Soon I will have enough to make a Crossgen theme, a red / black land destruction deck. I will also be able to write a brief strategy guide for the deck as well. My basic strategy so far is to use land destruction (3 sorceries and 1 enchant land) to deny your opponent land. While you yourself use mana boosting cards to eventually lay the Negation smackdown by bringing out the dreaded but mana heavy Negation Lawbringers, what with four 9/9 creatures with trample and flying, and Lawbringer QTZR a 10/10 creature with trample and flying. Then overrun your opponent in short order.
I suggest that any one making some instants, sorceries etc have in the back of their mind any type of deck strategy they might want to implement.

I think I essentially now have enough cards to make a Negation based deck. I will post more later on my deck.

Negation based deck
This is a red / black land destruction deck. The basic strategy is to destroy your opponent's land and prevent them from bringing out creatures. Once you build up enough mana, lay the smackdown by bringing out bigger creatures such as Evinlea, and of course the Negation Lawbringer (this deck has 4 standard lawbringers, and 1 lawbringer QZTR). Guaranteed to overrun most opponents. Use Komptin's special ability to put a lawbringer in your hand when you have enough mana but no Lawbringer card.
This deck has 16 land denial spells (12 land destruction and 4 enchantments which rob the opponent of land). Most decks have 18-24 land, so this is guaranteed to give the opponent a world of pain.
Used Crossgenesis, Negation conquest, Negation experiment (similar to dark ritual in normal MTG decks) and Javi to help build up mana faster. If you can't build up mana for a lawbringer and the opponent already has cheap creatures, use small creatures like the Ahtranian scout and kaliman retriever to defend yourself. Javi is also a good blocker with his ability to regenerate himself and other creautures, allowing weaker creatures to shrug off damage from big creatures your opponent may bring out.
As with all land destruction decks, the bane of such decks are cheap weenie decks (unlikely to be seen in a comic based deck). Fortunately your land destruction spells are also flexible. Orbital bombardment can also deal with weenies easily enough and Lawbringer's wrath can deal with artifacts and artifact creatures, while prison planet can also help deal with some creatures. Dark lesson is also a cheap creature killer similar to Dark banishing in regular MTG decks.
Land (22)
10 swamps
10 mountains
2 prison planet
Creatures (16)
4 Athranian scout (2/2, 1b)
4 Kaliman Retriever (3/3, 3r)
1 Komptin (3/2, 3b)
1 Javi (1/2 with special abilities, 2bb)
1 Evinlea ( 5/5 with flying, trample, haste and regenerate 2bbrr )
4 Negation Lawbringers (9/9 flying, haste, vigilance, trample 5bbr)
1 QZTR (10/10 flying, haste, vigilance, trample, with land/artifact destruction ability, 5bbr)
Spells (24)
2 Crossgenesis (enchantment which increases mana production)
3 Dark Lessons (instant, creature killer 2b)
4 Extinction wave (land destruction 3r)
4 Lawbringer's wrath (land / artifact destruction 2rr)
3 Negation experiment (intant, mana producing card)
4 Negation Conquest (Land denial enchantment 2bb)
4 Orbital Bombardment (land / creature destruction 2b)
This deck contains 62 cards. I will post the images for Negation experiment (essentially a dark ritual with a comic theme) and Dark Lesson (essentially dark banishing with a comic theme) later. I have done the cards, but photobucket.com seems to have difficulty loading on my computer at the moment.
Any comments on the deck?
