Music question

Post by Agent Fisher »

What is the name of the classical music that is usually played in movies when a bunch of people are getting whacked.

Example: In the movie version of Sum of all Fears, they play a piece as Clark throat slits a guy, another guy gets chased down and shot, and the head bad guy gets blown up.

Guess I should mention it's an opera.

Arias are quite popular for these "good guys assassinate the villains"-scenes, but I don't think there is one single piece used in all movies.

In "The Sum Of All Fears", it is "Nessun dorma" from the opera "Turandot" by Giacomo Puccini.

Love and Peace,
