David Lee Roth has been doing a radio program in syndication since January. It's on in the slot Howard Stern used to occupy, at least in the eastern US; in the western parts, they run Adam Carolla's show. However, it's not doing very well in the ratings.

I saw him in concert back in 1988 in Omaha. He had an amazing floor show. He came out riding a giant microphone like a cowboy for the opening song.
He's kind of like the William Shatner of rock-n-roll. Full of himself but in a humorous way.

HAD a radio show. Past Tense. It got dropped Friday.

Damn... I remember when he was one of the sexiest hunks around. *sigh* Still, imho, "California Girls" and "Just a Gigalo" were the better videos.

Me: Nope, that's why I have you around to tell me.
Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.

Yankee Rose was my favorite David Lee Roth video. It introduced me to the greatness of Steve Vai.

I just showed "Goin' Crazy" to my fiancee Rosie, who had never seen it before. Actually, despite having worked in the music business, dealing with self-important musicians for in-store shows, and living through the '80's, Rosie apparently had never seen DLR perform onstage before. Her response after the video:

"Wow, he's really athletic!"

This is one of the many reasons why I love Rosie!
