Free Drawing Program?

Post by Hawkwings »

I'm looking for some sort of free drawing program for lineart. I drew this cool-looking thing on graph paper, and I want to transfer it to the computer.

I'm looking for something basic, easy to use, and able to draw curved lines. I have lots of defined curved lines in my drawing, and I want to get them accurately. Something like drawing an arc by defining 3 points would work well.

So basically, I'm looking for Paint with a grid, and arc by 3 points. Who's got suggestions?

There´s inkscape. A free vector based drawing programm kind of like illustrator.

I´ve never used it so i can´t tell if it´s good but i´ve heard good stuff about it.

Inkscape

If you wand something like Paint (in other words a pixel based programm) you can allways go with the gimp.
