I just discovered the Assoicated Press publish 4 of my pictures in August. This is the first time I have had pictures published in any major print, so I am rather excited. (Even though the story dates to August.)

Hah, that's pretty awesome -- I take it you're not a full-time photographer then? How did those pictures become used?

I consider myself an ametuer, and photography as a hobby. I just happened to be assigned to take pictures for people getting insentive flights. I gave each person a CD of pictures, and the AP pick them up. (They are considered public domain since I was in uniform while taking them, but I still get credit for them.)
