Power armor concept MkII

Post by TheMuffinKing »

A new design, one that I hope strays from my usual block designs. This is the direction I'd like to take my drawing further to, next up, learning shading and value!

Constructive crits welcome!

There's certainly a fair different between this and your former designs. However, it does look like someone has stuck their head into their shirt to avoid smelling something

Ando beat me to the chig reference. Now all you need to do is give them a three pronged gun that shoots fireballs and you're in the money.

Now that's awesome Muffin. Probably your best armour design yet.

That is true.

Also, that thing's head reminds me of Robocop 2.

I also like his posture, he looks like he's doing a manly man-walk!

I really like the design. It is reminiscent of medieval plate armour, especially the helmet. Also, it does show that you can draw more organic forms too.

His left and right arms seem quite different. His right appears much more chunky on the inner arm, and appears to have a better articulated elbow. I would consider beefing up his left arm to match the right.

Also, screw learning to shade, I want to see a unit of these guys disembarking from a transport in a hot LZ!

A quick photochopping of things to come. I'll have to draw more armors, and better guns. I hope to have something presentable soon.

Your power armoured chap seems to be deploying from a supersized Stryker with a Bradley turret.
