Well, the filming model is more than twice as large (8 feet versus 3 feet) and considerably more detailed. It makes sense that the Imperator would get more coverage.

Even in drawings?

Kinda hard to tell whether inaccurate drawing "A" is a misrepresentation of the Avenger or the Devastator, dont'cha think? Unless we're sitting there measuring the hull proportions, which are somewhat different. I've never seen a drawing of an ISD that was really accurate to either model. They get the "gist," of course, but never the details.

Incidentally, has our original benefactor for this thread stopped reading it altogether? He posted some additional shots on July 30, in response to a request, but that's the last I've seen. Is it pointless to ask for more screencaps?

How do you even tell a mk1 and mk 2 apart? They all look the same to me though.

there's some minor differences (the engines are different from example and so are the veapon turrets).

Ok, here goes:

1) the structures on top of the bridge tower are different - the MK I has an "x" shaped deal, the MK II has more of an inverted "U" shape

2) The primary turrets are different

3) The MK I has more visible turrets

4) The greebles on the terraces are completely different

5) The greebles in the trench are completely different

6) The greebles in the engine area are completely different

7) The greebles on the bridge tower are completely different

The MK I hull is more "squat" and the MK II is more elongated.
