Some new photos I took today with the Sigma 30mm F1.4 Lens I acquired . (I also got a Manfrotto tripod, my first, but I can't get the plastic plug off of the head so I couldn't hook my camera up ).
I also included 2 shots I took with my old Olympus E-300, just becuase I could. (And they looked nice)
Weird statue
No HDR, just good old fashioned auto lighten shadows and boost contrast-midtones in Photoshop express. My first playing around with it .

I should have tried cropping more I think, I couldn't get a good composition with the bottom of the pole and the shadow without my shade crossing it. (Especially not with a prime lens).
