My contribution - something for the HAB

Post by PeZook »

For some time now I've been playing with 3d modelling. Now, the first thing that I did was, naturally enough, a tank.

This is how it looked like after I finished the model some six months ago and covered it with procedural textures:

Not very interesting, huh? Hard to see the details, and textures look REALLY bad.

Now, since I was unable to find nice free textures on the internet, I had long since moved on to other projects.

Now, five days ago I got my hands on Photoshop. After fooling with it for five minutes, I pulled out this old model and started making textures.

A day later, this was the result:

Let me tell you one thing: Photoshop RULEZ ;)

With some work, It could be a nice "Concession Accepted" pic as well...I'll have to look into it :)

For concession accepted you want the barrel to camera.

It's just a matter of setting up the model right. Two moves of the mouse :)
