Tell me what you think of my T. rex model

Do you guys think that this color pattern is good enough, or should I repaint it?

I like it (and I am still doing the detail work), but what do you guys think of this?

Well, judging by the 2nd pic (which looks more detailed/finished and isn't as bright as the first), I'd say it looks really nice and realistic.

The paint job is very, very nice.

I would encourage you to invest in some modeling putty and sandpaper, however.

Thanks for the compliments. I'm still doing the detail work, and it will take a while before I am finished (things like school and work get in the way). I'll post my progress in a month or so.

You and Rexy should really stop arguing over whether to watch the Simpsons or the Tonight Show and work something out.

Put in a different background in the second pic, and I would say it was a screencap from the movie.

Where are the feathers?

I think it looks extremely good right now, but I don't know model painting very well.

LOL!

I've given it some more brown highlights, and I am going to use modeling putty to add on some more scales as well as fill in the cracks. I am also going to make a diorama of the Tyrannosaurus ass-raping the Spinosaurus from JP/// (well, not literarily ass-raping of course).

Ripping a Spino's head off? Good! GREAT! Do that!

Hmmm.... make the Rex less shinny, make its eyes a wee bit easier to see, add a bit more of texture, maybe a bit more of black, then it's perfect. As of now, it's pretty damn good! Better than most cheap ass movies, lessen its shinniness then I'd say it's from a Jurassic Park rip-off with a decent budget.

Good man, and be sure to have Raptors chewing on the Spino's corpse in your diarama!

It's a grown up, you fool. Only baby Trexes had fluff (too much heat retention or something)

see?

(I realise the babies are quite dark, but it's obvious on the original, trust me ;) )
