Does anyone have any tutorials on how to do *extremely* simple things in Photoshop? I've been cruising Google, but all the tutorials are on things far more advanced than I am.
Basically, I'm looking for a guide to manipulating images- layers, cutting and pasting, etc. This confuses me greatly.
And no, I don't have the manual on hand- this is a used product.

What I don't like is how virtually all Photoshop tutorials are almost solely focused on web design and crap like that.
People use PS to do more than just make fucking buttons and backgrounds, you know...

I suggest, if you can, to get Paint Shop Pro. It's a lot easier for beginners, and a lot more user-friendly (I'm *still* trying to get used to PhotoShop).
Speaking of which.. anyone know how to get rid of that damned sepia tone every time I open and/or copy and paste images to PS 6?

Photoshop 5 doesn't have any sort of discoloration problems for me.
