How about Halloween for this month's theme? Given that it's October.

Could we perhaps expand it to Autumn in general, with Halloween as maybe a point of focus?

If it's too specific, poeple won't be interested.

I have a picture that would work perfectly for Autumn, but I guess if I was forced, I guess I could come up with something Halloween related.

Well if it's too vague, people might not have enough "material" to go on. I think I'll wait for input from other people.

Halloween images are very well known, much like christmas imagery, think "Nightmare before christmas" and do something.

Is this the official thread, or a discussion one about it?

If it's the discussion one, someone should make the official thread and post a finishing date...

for ideas for themes for the competitions, visit www.b3ta.com and see what their competition for the week is and perhaps do something similar?

As I said before.. It doesn't have to be incredibly Halloween related, as long as it can be classified as a Halloween piece.. a dark piece of art would work just as well as anything.
