Their skin textures are better than the FF movie... wonder if their hair animation is better too.

Ok, I'm gonna have to say it. You're all making this out to be the best shit on the fucking planet. It ain't. Does it look really nice? Yes. But it's a far cry from realistic, and if you disagree then you clearly have no idea what a real person looks like. If you see these pictures and wonder if its a photo, you should get your eyes checked.

That said, I think the textures are a bit too heavy on the grunge/noise, everything looks a tad plastic or too satiny, and the lighting provides few real shadows, just artsy dramatic lighting.

It IS game art, not a photorealism piece, and yes I've seen more realistic ones, but realism isn't the point here.

I personally like the feel it gives, especially the last one.
