The new Zune theme goes very well with my choice of desktop, I find...

My current desktop. A rather MSPaint-ish extension of a comic frame borrowed from Dr Saxton.
A Government founded upon justice, and recognizing the equal rights of all men; claiming higher authority for existence, or sanction for its laws, that nature, reason, and the regularly ascertained will of the people; steadily refusing to put its sword and purse in the service of any religious creed or family is a standing offense to most of the Governments of the world, and to some narrow and bigoted people among ourselves.

This is the Sustenance theme I'm running... I don't think it's hard to find.

I like the background, although right now I'm using a pic someone posted (Lord Poe?) in Testing of the WWF Panda with a WTF written underneath.

It's nice to see someone actually using IF's "Baby Spaceships" icons.

I don't have a screenshot of the the actual desktop, but I do have a link to the image I'm using. It is the coolest piece of C&C related artwork every created:

"At its Dawn"

Available in higher resolutions here, plus some other nice ones.

Slow day at work, went by blacklibrary.com and saw that they have wallpaper downloads from the 4 Horus Hersey books cover. Liking all 4, I made this as my new desktop,

I'm giving Vista another shot to see if the driver situation has improved a bit, so here's my Vista desktop.

Image

If you like the wallpaper, I got it from a wallpaper newsgroup today.
I've posted it on my personal webspace here for download

Feel free to d/l it, but don't pass the link to everyone and their brother outside of SDnet, as it's a 1.9MB 1920x1200 JPEG, and my ISP might get annoyed by the high bandwidth usage.

It's not a sidebar gadget, it's the OSD display from Everest.
I just made the background transparent and drug it into the corner.

Ah. I'm using Everest's gadget, which while its more compact than your display, doesn't look as good. I'll have to give the OSD display a try.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."
