I took this in July 2003 and use it for a desktop now and again, mostly because I thought the tiny little cricket in the center (most easily viewed at the higher resolutions linked here) looks kind of cool:

Is that a cricket or is it a stink bug? It's very hard to see it even when I blow the picture up...

Those are some loverly desktops. I don't normally participate in this forum, but I was compelled when I saw Bounty's desktop. It was interesting for me because I use that same wallpaper on my work computer.

On my other work computer I use another piece by the same artist:

(That black section was purposely cut out.)

Now that's a clean desktop. 2 desktop icons and 9 items on the dock menu. And the dock menu hides unless the mouse cursor is over it.
