That's totally not Nicole-458. Her stats make her out to be a 7-foot tall amazon. She's as busty as the regular Dead or Alive cast to boot. Haha.

But being so tall, they're more to scale than most of the cast.

I was enjoying it until the gun randomly turned into a lightsaber. Really amused by the involuntary bomb jumping though.

That's taken from a Super Smash Bros. Brawl trailer.

Were I to try to be anal and fit this into actual Halo continuity, I would say that the Spartan has to be Maria, though she should still be a 7-ft tall Amazon.

Of all the Spartans we've seen (in the books, games, and graphic novel), she has the most elaborate gun-fighting style, though none of the Spartans have tried to pull off any gun-kata moves like that.

I'm sure you can't quite tell under the muscles, though.

But yeah, apparently he even put 458 on the suit.

That's fun. It's a shame that the DOA guys didn't give Nicole an extra costume where she was outside of her armor.

I thought basically three things about this film

1- Well, this is... wank.

2- Samus's armor looks... Plasticy..

3- Just like in the Captain N comics, Samus is more lethal once the suit is off.

As such, an amusing, mindless eye candy romp. I approve.

I thought it was great to see the HALOBall Z action. It's not suppose to be a serious depiction of MC or Samus, it was clearly made to be absurdly over the top.

If it had been Doom Guy in the armor, I doubt there'd have been enough of Samus to sweep up and put in a rubbish can.[/img]

Wasn't she like a foot taller than Samus at the end?

I thought it was good clean fun. Cotton candy-ish.

IIRC, he says he got the Samus Model from Super Smash Bros.

Yeah, I saw that bit, but it still looks different than I recall from Smash Bros. It could be the shininess, though.

And given that Samus is canonically around 6'3" in armor, Nicole in the film should be approaching the correct height, but I don't care enough to check.

Of course, considering the fact that the same question could be asked about the existance of a teenage lesbian Spartan-II, I believe I'm overthinking the piece.

I would like to refer the honourable gentleman to the answer I just gave a moment ago.

There's two kinds of fiction - that which invents and innovates and avoids the conventions, and that which dives deep into and indulges in the conventions. This fall into the second category.

That was, without a doubt, the greatest use of a shotgun I've ever seen. It was, in many ways, beautiful.

...as bizarre as that all was (Master Chief throwing a car, maybe...but a PELICAN?), it was wonderful to see. THAT's what a great fanfilm looks like.

It also achieved its stated purpose; if you hear that the same filmmaker has done something with his original characters now, won't you be curious about it?

...and at least according to Wikipedia, Samus' height is around 6'3". Nicole-458 is 6'8"...so a five-inch difference, that seems about right.

To tell the truth...except for the lightsaber junk, the battle wasn't really outside of Samus' canonical abilities.

As for a Spartan, no damn way should they be able to move like that. Superhuman is one thing, but that was just a little ludicrous if you try to take it seriously.

Made for some awesome fighting, though.

Samus is capable of extending her grapple beam several dozen meters and slamming a metric ton-sized target through multiple buildings, demolishing said buildings?

Damn. I underestimated her.

She destroyed the buildings? I noticed her slamming Nicole around, but I didn't realize that the buildings were actually coming down.

...and what the heck is Spartan armor made of? I figured a maximum possible weight for a Spartan in full MJOLNIR gear was a thousand pounds, tops.

I believe that a fully outfitted SPARTAN-II is supposed to be about half a metric ton, or eleven hundred pounds.

The one problem with making the Spartan in that video Nicole-458 is that all the Spartan-IIs are not only in their forties, but they've also had their sex drives permanently suppressed as part of the enhancement procedures.

Still, who gives a shit? That was still awesome. :D

Well...the growth-hormone pellet suppresses their sex drives as a side effect, but maybe it can return once the pellet is depleted?

And given her number, it's reasonable to assume that Nicole's from a later generation of Spartan-IIs than John-117.
