That sounds like Ren Faire guilds, Kojkun. Not the Southern Faire shit, where it's essentially a big open-air mall for the tourists, the gatherings in Ojai and Vegas. Bunch of buds of mine are in a pirate guild and the regularly put on battles involving live black powder pistols and cannons.

Sounds like re-enactment. I've always wanted to go see a Civil War reenactment in person, but then I figure my Gettysburg DVD is good enough.
