That would also explain why humans can't be inside a Transformer when it transforms. :)

The only difference between the Takara and the Hasbro Primes is the smokestack size, and the paint job. Diecast content is identical.

Oh, and price. 20th Annvi. Prime runs about $30-40 less than MP Convoy, depending on where you get him from.

I saw the 20th Prime a couple days ago, and yes, the smokestacks ARE a big difference.

The light into weapons or components effect that you see something is pretty common for 80's shows. I can't help you with the size thing.
