My command squad makes a heroic last stand before the only relic on the map. See all those glowy dots in the background? Enemy Assault Marines inbound on my position. They never stood a chance.
It's Rogue, not Rouge!

I made these by setting up a couple of hard AI's against each other and then just observing the match, it's quite fun to just relax and watch the glorious carnage unfold for a change.
The first map was 2 IG and 1 SM versus 2 Ork and 1 CSM. The Guard and Marines curbstomped them pretty thoroughly, despite the fact that the Orks had a huge force early on.
The Emperor commands you click the thumbnails:
A Librarian sends a Chaos Marine flying in one of the early skirmishes, and a Dreadnought crushes and burns another in the background.
That same Dreadnought finishes off another Traitor, avenging the fallen Chaplain. Notice the Chaos Marine soiling his armour on the right.
The final assault on the last Ork base, a Gretchin cowers from the righteous stream of fire rattling from the Blood Raven heavy bolters.
A Revered Dreadnought seemingly strikes a victory pose after delivering the killing blow to the Ork headquarters.
In the second game I had a single IG army versus an Eldar army.
This is my particular favourite Guard scheme, the 1st Albion Mechanised Infantry. I found the banner and colour scheme on a website called "Hangar-8". I would recommend having a browse as they have a good selection of excellent quality banners of all sorts, including some really nice replacements for the standard banners.
I simply took this screenshot because it shows the incredible job the artists at Relic did creating the units for this game. It was not very long ago at all that you would not see that level of detail in an FPS, let alone an RTS.
A poorly executed Eldar assault on the Guards base early on where they commited their forces piecemeal saw them completely wiped out.
However they quickly followed up the attack with some armoured forces, arriving at the Guards base while most of the Guardsmen were on the other side of the map.
Once the Guard army made it back the base had taken a severe pummeling, and more Eldar reinforcements arrived. Here a Wraithlord is tearing an unfortunate Commisar to pieces and the Guard Commander is trying desperately to bring it down.
Finally the massed Eldar overrun the base. This Techpriest is the last Guard survivor, taking potshots at the huge Eldar force.
Thats all for now. In both games I was hoping the Guard was going to the break out the heavy armour for some good screenshots, but they never got around to it both times. Might post some more later.

The last stand of my Ogryn squads. The enemy was backed up all the way across the bridge waiting to get at my base.
Again, I stood no chance.

Well, the first one was kind of a snapshot anyway; even if I knew that, I saw the plasma bolt coming and hit Print Screen really fast. No time for anything else.

It's doing that thing again...
Oh, and the same comp's other Whirlwind looked completely normal, but it was halfway across the map.
