Just noticed the part that really bugged me, but couldn't put my finger on. Why only the 'Imperial Navy'? Shouldn't that be 'Empire' or 'Imperial Forces' if you have to have Imperial in there (for aesthetic reasons of making the words fit across)?

Just a personal niggle now I've been able to get past the missing head thing.

I like the second pic from the top, Mike (I Want You For The Empire), but with "Galactic Empire" instead of "Empire", and an Imperial logo as background.

BTW, I still think the best Vader pic is the one you had when you started the SD.net website.

Still looks cluttered, but those 'Unity, Strength, Join X' posters gave me an idea.

Carrying on from my earlier suggestion of losing the Buttons frame, the poll and making the page a portal.

You have your paragraphs - 'Do you have what it takes', 'What is the EG Guard?', 'Why join', 'Meet Specialist Jarren Korr', 'Pre-Emptive Defense'. With the changing poster on the right. There should be enough space at the bottom to split the 'Join X' Posters and line them along the bottom plus a stormtrooper one (if the artist could make one), and have them in a box with Join Now!. You click anywhere in the box and it takes you to the front page.

On that could be the SD.net banner with ' I want you for the Galactic Empire' underneath, the Button frames on the left, the Poll in vaders place and the explaination of the site taking up the rest.

It should unclutter everything, allow you to go all out on your mock posters and still have the analytical thrust of the main site kept seperate - Having your cake and eating it.

I'd normally doa mock-up to show you what i mean rather than just writing it, but I'm pressed for time tonight.

Mike, I think you should decrease the brightness and increase the contrast on some of your Vader shots. It's kinda ugly to have him all grayed-out, especially on a black background.
