I used to have an Antilles Pinktoe. And Sadie looks a lot like Jeg er Vekker's puppy Shady.

You cat is rather nice, she reminds me a lot of my old cat. Just that kind of mature look she has, that everything is being watched.

Thanks , actually the same way I think of her too, she's only almost 2 years old, yet she's so great with the kids and I just know that if something happened like if the house was on fire or something (at night or during the day)she would come in and rescue us by meowing until we got up. She's such a loyal kitty. I love her so much.

I just found a pic of our cat when she was just a little kitten, this was taken in August of 2002 so I guess she would be a little over 2 years old...
Anyway, this is our son holding her just like he was in one of the first pics I posted... as I said he's been dragging her around since we got her.

Here's Orange. The dogs revere him as a less than benevolent god, or possibly a greater demon. He likes to hide from them and then bop them when they're not looking:

And last, but certainly not least, here's Lucy. She's half Siamese, and she's angstier than the angstiest teen goth, but I love her and she sleeps on my bed, despite the white bedsheets. I sleep much better when she's around because I know that if there was anything dangerous around, then she wouldn't be there. Sherlock is scared shitless of her:

I feel much safer with my cats sleeping with me than I would with the dogs.

Why? Because I know they're smart enough to bugger off when there's something dangerous afoot. When they're there, I know that everythings ok. The dogs are too stupid and friendly for me to trusts.

They'd make great watch dogs. They'd watch the burglars come in. Then they'd watch the burglars take all our stuff. And then they'd watch the burglars leave.
