You catch alot of pictures of IDF soldiers hanginag around because they are in uniform everywhere, as far as I know thats the law.
On duty, sure. Off duty, we can wear whatever we like. Of course, if you live far from your base, you'll keep the uniform on for the free public transport.
Whats with the female IDF soldiers? They don't even act like they're in an army?
For non-combatants, especially girls who usually don't guard and all, the army IS more like a job than a military post.

Alcohol(We're not allowed to drink in uniform, obviously). The boots(heavy as hell, cool as they may look). Doing anything outdoorsy(uniform stains and tears easily). Comfort(scratchiness can get to one after a time). It's not exactly uncomfortable, but, well.....

OK, my IDF story.

We're cataloging matterials in the basement of the Yigal Allon museum at Kibbutz Ginosar. When we finish its dark, & the museum is closed. So we have to exit from the basement, (which doesn't have a light switch by the back exit gate, so you have to walk the last 50 ft. in the dark. There is crap all over the place & the shin bang potential is dam high with all of the crap they have laying around.) The exit is on the back, facing the Kinnessett (Sea of Gailiee) & the six of us come arround the corner out of the dark in to an IDF swearing in ceremony in the front of the museum. So we're getting the eye from more than a few people, with more than a few boom sticks. We kind of slink our way past on the endges & I what caught my nose? Somebody is hitting the mary-J!!!!

First pic in the ROC troops.

 I didn't know she was an Army infantry captain. And where is her name pin and honor pin? I wouldn't mind to help put it on her "chest". :P

That woman's a bodybuilder, that's why she's so jacked, go to the website in the corner of that picture if you don't believe me. She's actually relatively small in that picture.
Yup... and IMO This...

Image

... is where she should have stopped. Now she looks like a man and is not attractive at all IMO of course ;)

EDIT:

I mean, is she really that sexy in this picture... Image
Personally I think she looks revolting there. But to each his own I guess.

Too late!

Seriously though, she looks awesome in that first picture on the beach. But the bodybuilding pose is just scary. No one, IMNSHO, should look quite like that, least of all women.

I'm kind of shocked by that. I mean, I know a lot girls who go to the gym regularly, and none of them have a build even approaching that. Hell, the one who's the most buff is about the same as Linda Hamilton in T2 (ie muscular, but not hugely so, broad shoulders, etc but nowhere near the point of repulsiveness - quite the opposite in fact).

You'll probably find her muscle build is similar in both pictures. Bodybuilders when they're going in to competitions shed as much fat as they can, so they get that muscle definition, down to really unhealthy levels. Then when they're out of competition, put it back on again so they can train harder (fat collects around the muscles, cushioning them and reducing the amount of muscle fibre damage that occurs in heavy use).

That's why competition pictures of bodybuilders always look ugly, they're essentially emaciated but with fuckloads of muscle.

Even more here and here.

I don't know why, but so far these two win out for me:

Hey, at least I can believe those two pics I posted are of REAL female soldiers.

I found another website with what I believe to be Russian female soldiers. Just keep clicking next until you run into a picture of a fat male soldier. :D

More Russian women, dressing up as WWII-era Soviet soldiers:

We all know Zaia, very picky about his women. Perhaps that's why he likes guys instead, especially me.
