That's a good use of a Star Destroyer!
Personally I'd have put the text as 'Join' *emblem* 'the' - then where you have the Stormtroopers helmets Large font 'Imperial' *prow of Star Destroyer* 'Forces' - then your line of stormtroopers under that, with the 'Today' below them. Maybe put a Star background in there, which makes the ISD's shadow on the Emblem more subtle as a bonus.
Just to leave the ISD without text over it.

I recently updated the image you linked to, Einy. It comes from http://www.stardestroyer.net/Empire/Tec ... royer.html and it contains high-res images which have had the "StarDestroyer.Net" watermarks removed, so that they can be more easily used in custom projects.

On the xcf file of Vader's picture, it's layered so you can easily adjust the brightness and contrast of Vader without affecting the rest of the image. In the original picture from which it was taken, he was in a brightly lit room, which is why he looks kind of odd when he's against a black background.

Here's a little something I whipped up with the help of Galvatron, who gave me a vector image of the Imperial emblem. No text, but I figure I'll leave that part up to Mike.
