This is my new cab. its just smells new. And I insist that Taxis can be of three different colours. Black, Dark blue and yellow.

Is 'Taxi' a universally accepted word then? Seems wherever you are in the world, they tend to have the same word.

The word seems to be taking over. For example, while Norwegian has its own word, drosje, taxi is being used in its place more and more.

Taxi is a very usual word. its useful in Egypt, all of eu, Japan, china and Tailand, all of the old britt places.
