Well, someone's neck snapping days are in the past.

Looks like someone restitched his hospital gown into a man dress.

That Les Paul looks awfully small.

Yes, it is. Steven Segal for the win!

Reminds me of when Will Sasso would parody Segal on MadTV, except now it looks like Sasso is a touch smaller then Segal.

Edited to correct spelling. Also
Sasso as Segal

I bet he can still make shitty action films where 80% of the crew names are Russian every year, though.

He cranks one out about every 4 months or so.

He'd rather be considered a great writer, I believe.

Because he sure as hell isn't a good actor!

You had to know he was slowing down when he started doing Tai Chi martial arts rather than the kind of hard-contact stuff he did before. It's completely reasonable to make that change, a soft form like that is perfect for someone getting older, but it's still just kinda funny. It'd be like seeing a movie where Jackie Chan goes to jump a gap... and stops, considers, and goes to look for a plank to put across it instead.

Seagal has always been about aikido. Its what his background is in (only foreigner to EVER have their own aikido dojo in Japan) and he is damn good at it, even today, though it doesn't translate that well to the screen, meaning most of his recent shit forces him into shitty hollywood-fu confrontations.

The difference is, I could totally see Jackie Chan doing that, on purpose, for laughs.

Aikido only for a given value of. He shows off a rediculously hard form of it in his movies....I have no doubt he's good at it, but it's more an offshoot.

Too bad he didn't apply that to his acting (acting so bad, he makes Caruso from CSI: Mimi and Beltran from Voyager look good). But Seagal must still be laughing all the way to the bank.

It wasn't a dojo founded by him, though. He married into it.
