I dunno. Might want to place something instead of the gap between the two hull parts: it is structurally unsound/unrealistic.

Somewhere must the AT's and Speeder's go out...

In the middle is a huge door...
When you can see it...

There the heavy equipment comes out.

If you close the gap you could probely cary more equipment and when they load out their firing area would be greater.

You could have it that a massive container could fit there, wether filled with more troops, supplies, walkers, whatever.

I see what you mean. Regardless, that design is badass.

I like Ted's idea...maybe you can make a container model to fill the gap. The barge would always carry the standard loadouts in the actual ship itself, but that extra container could be used to accomodate the mission profiles.

Hm...you guys are conservative w/ your kickass designs.

You could easily fit 10 AT-ATs in there if my mind isn't failing me.

Don't be conservative. Embrace the power of your designs!

I can see a reason for the gap to exist, namely to help give the door cover when it's open, but it doesn't have to be that big. You could easily move the door forward but leave a small gap, that way you would get more room for whatever you need it for and still have the protection of a recessed door.
