I like the redesign of its feet, it seems a lot more stable than the standard AT-ST.

Reminds me of the official AT-ST/A. But I like this more. I would've wanted to see this on Endor.

To be fair a retractable third leg to balance it along with the other two would let you mount a larger cannon but the currents are fine(Though pretty exposed)

The Design is not finished yet...

It is a Prototype...

We work on it. 8)

I believe this is some VERY fine work. I hope we see some more of these designs because so far this is top notch work!

I hope the legs are strong enough to handle the recoil.

This one is GREAT the way it is.

This one is GREAT the way it is.
Not quite Ossus, As one should note, Though the improvments are excellent letting one mount a much larger weapon it should be noted
A. It exposes the weaponry whereas before they where protected by the Body Armor

B. It creats balancing issues, The AT-ST was already pretty close to top-heavy and the feet might not be enough

C. What happened to close in support? With the Weaponry in its current configuration your not going to be able to fire at ground troops out to a few hundred meters....

Don't let the pretty image get you carried away Ossus
Think like an Engineer!
It has to WORK Not look good!

Only from above, and the standard AT-ST is fucked in that case, too.
B. It creats balancing issues, The AT-ST was already pretty close to top-heavy and the feet might not be enough
Or they might. It all depends on how much recoil the big gun produces.
C. What happened to close in support? With the Weaponry in its current configuration your not going to be able to fire at ground troops out to a few hundred meters....
This is a fire-support unit. Obviously, there will be other walkers or ground troops to support it.

Excellent Design! 8)

Ideas:

1.) Add a third leg; makes the design more stable and makes it more unique.

2.) Make the body larger. Make the armor thicker and the body of the walker more bulky for emphasize more armor and a dedicated reactor.

3.) Spread the legs out, and make the walker "squat" more on the drive area.

4.) Go ahead and make glass viewports, make this look like a true rugged machine--I can see this designated as a multipurpose recon and search vehicle on hostile terrain (hence the sealed cockpit).

5.) Give it some unique touches, give it a unique name, and have fun.

1. We plan an extendable support leg on the back...

2. We will see... I will suggest it to the Science Sektion...

3. Nice Idea... I will see what I can do.

4. Hmmm... 'k...

5.

Up-to-date we have 6 new AT-Designs in work...

NICE...and Bean, what made you think the grenade launchers and lighter blaster weapons on its sides to handle infantry disappeared? They're still there. I've noticed one flaw in the design: How does the crew get in and out? The hatch is blocked by those guns. :P

This is a fire-support unit. Obviously, there will be other walkers or ground troops to support it.
But a Few Hundred... METERS?

Iggy the point is this thing can't hit anything strait in front of it if it where three foot-ball fields away

With LOS Artillery, Thats a SERIOUS disadvantage!

Imagin if this thing where on-top of a hill aiming at something six KM's away, If it where not at least 3 Meters tall it could not hit it! Thats a big problem Iggy, Nessitating my point the Cannons must be aranged in such a way(Or support added) So it can sit lower and thus aim at much Lower Targets than it can now(Or raise the Gun even more vertacily and let it swivl down)

The side weapons swivel for these exact purposes.
