What's the point of this thread? Well, if you get bored, go into this thread and request a photo. Anybody else try to fulfill the request.
The request should be wierd, difficult, or just funny.
My request: Somebody fit a latex glove as far over your face as possible (preferrably without killing yourself).

My request is an ISD tearing through a Federation fleet with TIEs, Assault Gunboats, Missile Boats, and Assault Shuttles deploying Spacetroopers to board damaged ships. That'd be really kick-ass.

If you have homeworld, there's a mod that gives star wars and star trek ships. You could possibly stage a battle this way and take screenshots---provided you have homeworld in the first place.

As an animation? That would take six months or more to assemble. Get the tools and learn to do it yourself.

Man, that was over a year ago I did this in homeworld...
Those are pretty cool shots. But why are the turbolasers so long?? Did you edit them yourself? I remember I tried tinkering with them to make them longer, but it never came out right.

Um, well, its not entirally on-topic, but could someone provide some pics of the Eclipse II. I've only seen one pic on the Saxton's site, and I would really like to see the front of that ship (or any other pic).

I spliced the sw mod posted above and the firstones.com b5 mod (pick and chose ships) and actually the ISDs were toasted and all but one Sharlin survived.
Really now, does this really need to be turned into a debate.

I'd like to see those pictures of Culture ships. I know some are floating around somewhere, but I've yet to find 'em (if I recall correctly, they're quite unspectacular in appearance).

ummm, I wasn't even going to bring it up.. he asked what the final result was, I told him. I spliced them for fun and to see what would happen when I did it.
Not to mention these pics are about a year and a half old...

Well the Cover to Excession has an GSV which appears to be a long spindle with Globes dotted along at random. The Cover to Consider Phlebas shows Solid toroid with a mirror finish, so yes they are bland to look at, but then the Culture always prefers Substance over Style
.

IMO that spindly thing is an elench ship. The thing in the distance that looks like a solid box is a GCU. IMO it fits better with the culture ship on the cover of Look to windward, which is also a solid silver block.
