So I went to that most american weekend tradition yesterday:
A Gunshow!
Yet using my sooper sekrit ninja skillz I was able to bring you top secret imagery of the inside!
Behold, the general breeding ground of AmericanusWhitusGuyus!
Of course, there was enough firepower in there to equip I think, the entire British Army (after MoD Cuts) with at least two sidearms and two rifles, plus swords, knives and bayonets as well.
I think Einy would love this one. Too bad it costs $3,600.
And of course, a bunch of evil .50 caliber rifles, along with some FN P90s as well.
Civilian Legal, Semi Auto version.
Class III SBR/Automatic version
Yeek.
The BEST class 3 dealer there, with the biggest selection (belt fed machine guns, heavy machine guns, etc) wouldn't allow pictures to be taken of his wares; but I can tell you, that the average price for a M-16 or AK-47 that was automatic was $2,000 or so; with the belt fed stuff going into the $10,000+ range.
AUG away for only $16 k!
No price on this, I think it was a inoperative replica. But if you can't recognize this shame on you!
The famous MP-5 "hidden gun in a briefcase" complete with the trigger on the handle! Yours for only $50,000!

Now, before you start thinking you can buy machineguns at a gunshow and walk away with them, you're WRONG. They're all classified as Class 3s; which means they can only be sold from one Class 3 license holder to another Class 3 license holder, plus a $200 tax transfer fee. Then you have to wait for all the damn paperwork to clear between the ATF and everyone, which can take quite a while. The only thing changing hands is an agreement to buy one.
A lot of exhibitors bought their dogs along to sit in the booths with them. Warfle.
There was also a Glock Authorized Gunsmith at one of the booths, meaning you could have your pistol tuned up while you shop.
One of the most wanked out guns I've seen.
Blue plastic practice guns were there too, expensive tho.
Virginia State Senator for office! Yey!
There were about 3 cops circulating throughout the gunshow openly in uniform, and I bet a few undercover cops were there too...
Hey Lonestar! These guys keep you safe!
Even the Duchess' favorite group was there! Lets hunt Lions!
But came the most SHOCKING SHOCKING surprise of all!
PROOF THAT VYMPEL IS A EVIL HEARTLESS MUNITIONS DEALER!
Cheapest gun I found, but then again, I wasn't looking too hard....

The NRA was there of course.
But before you think that gunshows are all about selling ruthless evil pieces of metal which steal people's lives....

After the Gunshow, I tootled around Northern Virginia, and visited Lonestar and we got drunk together at a bar, before I drowned him in a pile of his own vomit....

I went and visited the NRA HQ and it's National Firearms Museum.

I then went to a nearby Game Parlor in Chantilly, and saw that they were having an adoption day at the local petstore in that shopping center, so went in.
Adopt one of these cuties!

I then visited a hobby store and got these all for $21 dollars each. You may commence hating me now.
