I think this mesh could benefit from a smaller scale texture. As it is the plating effect is so large that it clashes with the turrets and leaves the viewer confused as to how big the ship is supposed to be.
Otherwise, great work as usual. And thanks for posting using normal links.

Very nice. It's a relief to see some people thinking SMALLER rather than these fan-made Star Destroyers that make the Death Star seem teeny.
May I recommend a name? Spearhead-class sounds good.

Crix, you're very talented. You should hook up with those guys in the Star Wars forum who wanted to design a near-to-accurate map of the interior of a traditional Star Destroyer.

Nice, though the turrets are a little exposed and abit to centerilised
Remeber with the Dagger shape and at the distances SD normaly fight everything from the top of the conning tower to the bottom of the keel can normaly fire on anything ahead of it
Might want to therefor spread the turrets out along the centerline abit if you take my meaning
Possible names
(Considering naming conventions in SW)
Defender class
Escout Carrier class/thingy
Pulsar Class
(Red) Dwarf Class(don't think it go over with the crew well
)

I really like this, a nice Escort/monitor design instead of the normal Uber sized ships. I agree with Spoofes shipname, Spearhead or maybe Arrowhead (the size thing) fits this to a tee.
Following on from Mr Beans suggestions for the guns and comments about crowding the centreline, I quickly drew
this freehand. I can't draw to save my life, but basically it was better than trying to explain it in words. Also ignore the horrible attempt at false perspective in the forward view of the guns, I was just trying to show that all those guns should be able to fire forwards.
Again i apologise for my lack of drawing ability.

Yes kinda
Move the Heavy turret up to the front of the bow, See the second to last dip up front before the ridge merges back into the hull?
As they are placed now the Medium turrets would likley destroy their fellows from turret washback so instead move the mediums off the centerline and onto the sides of the centerline, meanwhile keep the HTL where they are but put them in sheperical? Housings Acutal change that last, move the two HTL's into the Front two gaps in the centerline, IE about half an inch forward(At least on the drawling) into the Trench should give them a better apperance while maintaing near maxium fire-arch

those turrets are a bit HUGE dont you think? unless this thing is 150 feet long i'd say they need to be made smaller

If that thing doesn't scream "Atmosphere Capable", I dunno what does. Make the bridge tower neck a bit thicker and move the whole thing a bit closer to the hull. Also putting laser turrets in the gaps along the front of the hull would be better. Also the turrets would probably be better lower in the hull somewhat like an
ISD seen here Other than that, I LOVE the design!!!

Nice work it does look like what the Empire needs a good escort not those super ships other sites have made.

If you put them in the gaps, they will be lower than the ridges in front of them. They would only be able to shoot to the sides or upwards surely. He does need some guns on the underside maybe like
this, the raised area mimicing the overall shape and the guns arranged for all round defence (the two shapes in the wings are the engines - I may have mentioned I can't draw
).

Great work Dorius. What niche do you have in mind for it? It seems perfect for anti pirate/smuggler work.

While it is very cool, this seems more like a battleship designed for sea warfare rather than space warfare. There are no guns on the bottom of the ship. It is completely undefended, unless I'm missing something...lol.

You need to put guns on the ventral side.

Very sleek, nice design
I didn't really like all the turrents lined up in one line, but its your design.
I recommend the Gatecrasher Class for the name

I'd up it to 1,000 meters, personally.

Great work!
Just a thought, the way the ships laid out maybe it would be better off in a carrier role? I'd place a couple of large hangars in the 'wings'. you would be able to launch a large amount of attack craft in a short amount of time.
Have you decided what role it will play? Love the design, very sleek and menacing
