Anybody want to design a CreationTheory.Org logo?

My creationism website at http://www.creationtheory.org has a small problem, which it's had for years: no logo graphic or banner. And I'm no graphic designer, so any logo I designed would probably look like shit. Does anyone want to try his hand at it?

I'll be willing to give it a try ... could you PM me any more info? Any direction you would like to go to?

EDIT: As a matter of fact, maybe you could post this info here instead of PM so that anyone else willing to try would have access to it.

Quick and dirty...

I have absolutely no idea what I'm looking for, except that it has to be something that can go across the top of the front page of the site. And maybe something square or round for the upper left corner to replace the word "Home" too.

Dalton's got an interesting idea there, but it's a bit tall for a banner.

I suck at graphic design, but for an idea for the upper corner, what about something like a darwin fish eating Jesus?

Better yet, a parody of the Jaws poster. Replace the swimmer with Jesus walking on water, with a terrifying Darwin fish with fangs rising up to eat him.

Here is the Jaws poster

Is "The Greatest Story Ever Sold vs. the Greatest History Ever Told" good text for a logo? I'm thinking something flashy emblazoned across the top.

I can always modify it. That was just a quick and dirty I did up in ten minutes.

How's this look?

EDIT: I thought about it, and something like this might go well with the marble look of the background image.

EDIT #2: It would seem my flatmate's vote is for the scroll. At first glance, though, he thought I'd gone crazy, since he saw the website name and thought it was a pro-Creationist website.

I thought of a metal version of the hands of God and Adam touching in a metal circle would be cool.

Something along these lines? I think that's a cool idea.

Isn't the "Man touching God's hand" motif almost always used for pro-creationism purposes? At least replace God's hand with a test tube, a DNA helix, or an ape's hand.

I thought the irony of Adam reaching down to touch God's hand might go along with the irony of naming your site "creationtheory.org".

How's this for a change?

There's a few exceptions. See my sig. I found an image of Phoenix Wright in the "Man touching God's hand" thing, and shopped in an Objection!, then did a resize. So effectively Phoenix is objecting to God. :D

Speaking of, now I have a brilliant idea for a fanfic. . . .

Have "man's hand" flipping off God? :P

That's what's on the back of discworlds "The Last Hero" if anyone can get a scan

EDIT: oops, forgot there's a bit load of writing over it, there's the complete picture about 2/3 of the way through the book IIRC.
