Here's a drawing I've been working on and off on for a while now!

Very snazzy. If you don't want to go with arms, I'd suggest having ball joint/mounts instead, each mount having a medium/heavy caliber MG and 20-40mm grenade launcher. I assume the oil filter looking sensor on top is not the primary sensor suite. Having it as a periscope would be quite uesful though. A couple of AT/AA rockets on the shoulders, or at least the mounting brackets for them should make it an effective warbot.

Update! But updated before I read Deathstalker's excellent suggestions! In light of that, I'm reminded of why I work primarily in pencil.

Anyways:

It looks great. Though maybe you should try making something that looks different from the hundreds of blocky gun-mechs you've drawn for such a long time.

He looks like the much buffer brother of the Venture Brother's robot...

Too true. I am working on something a bit more curvy! Well not just one thing, but you'll all see!
