I've recently picked up my WACOM's stylus and decided I needed to learn how to do digital art. My problem is that when I add color, I lose the lines. And considering the fact that I'm not using line art, I can't use Overlay or a similar function to make them show throught. Here's the example. It's not great, but it illustrates my problem.
So, any advice on how to make the lines pop?

Draw your lines on the topmost layer and set the layer mode to "Multiply".
Paint on the layer(s) underneath and peace shall reign on earth.

The Multiply layer is your friend. Change the opacity as detail increases.
Alternatively, you can just paint on the same layer as your lineart. I do that a lot nowdays.

"The rest of the poem plays upon that pun. On the contrary, says Catullus, although my verses are soft (molliculi ac parum pudici in line 8, reversing the play on words), they can arouse even limp old men. Should Furius and Aurelius have any remaining doubts about Catullus' virility, he offers to fuck them anally and orally to prove otherwise." - Catullus 16, Wikipedia
I actually did something like that. I did the basic body sketch as the base layer and then added a new layer for each portion of detail, like hood, mask shirt, etc. Problem is, they're all really sketchy.
