If you dig around on YouTube you can find clips of him performing that song live. He's not trying to poke fun at himself.

Hah hah! We saw this as part of the shorts before Bad Movie Night one night which had Hasselhoff in it. The other was his "Hooked on a Feeling" music video which was vastly more terrible where Hasselhoff becomes the One and starts flying around and frolicking with his dog and daughters.

If you want to see bad, Hasselhoff once portrayed Nick Fury in a live-action SHIELD movie.

Until now I never knew he sang. And thanks to Gil, I wish I still didn't. The video he posted was ten times worse than Darth Wong's.

Now think about watching that video on a movie screen with large speakers, which where I was when I was treated to that video at Bad Movie Night at school. You could actually feel peoples souls leaving their body. And then we saw the classic hideous B Movie "Female Space Invaders" or "Starcrash" (this movie is known by many names and stars Hasselhoff as someone who Is Not A Jedi). He sports a mighty fro in that movie.

Holy mother of God that sucked. It started kind of lame and then kept getting worse and worse and then I saw that "Don't HASSLE the HOF" T-shirt.

Though it was kind of sad seeing him bringing up everything from Night Rider to Baywatch to show just what an artist he is.


EDIT: What puzzles me is the ultra cheap production of his videos.

I really hope that Hasslehoff does at least some of this with his tongue in cheek. There's just too much cheese for him not to be in on the joke as well.
