I ask 3 questions?

How do you all like it?
Can you tell what it is?
What is it?

This was done for a party I was asked to make a cake for. the frosting is homemade grape buttercream. I only wish I could find chrome food coloring! 8)

A little rough around the edges, but damn good for a homemade art cake. I could never make one of these.
Can you tell what it is?
A car?
What is it?
No wait. A cake?

A carcake?

A mid-fifties Chevrolet Bel Air 2-door sedan? In purple?

That looks delicious.

looks very very good.

My only advice is the use of fondant for some of it to clean it up. I have a recipe around here for a marshmallow based one that tastes pretty good. I'll see if I cant find it.

I don't usually use Fondant because all of the recipes i have ever seen all turn out tasting like plastic.

Ooh, get me that decent fondant recipe, too. I hate fondant, but it's really the cat's meow for cakes.

This cake looks great. Good job.

Looks great. :)

Though the stardestroyer one was greater, IMO. But perhaps that's because I'm biased for SF. ;)
