Dark, windy, cold, rainy, plus someone else's complete lack of focus lead to this:









These were taken mere minutes after the accident, about 0730 hours. Note the license plate on the hood. It belongs to the moron who decided that a great time to pull OUT of a parking lot was when I was driving PAST it (The plate's original position was in the now much larger space between the quarter panel and the door). To top it all off, my one year old was in the car, and goddammit, my passenger side door doesn't open. She goes to the shop tomorrow and I'll be driving an accord for about a week while she recieves TLC.

I guess the damage done to your Nissan is worse than mine.

Yeah, he's good. He was in his car seat in the back middle. I think he was more confused than anything else. I wish I'd had a window into his head at that point because with the look on his face...It was classic. Like "GOD! That was loud!"

That's good. I'm going to be honest, as soon as I read the description at the beginning, and saw the pictures, I remembered your story in Fanfics. Fear clutched at my heart, man.
