StarDestroyer.Net BBS

I've been trying to find an old webcomic, but at least based on what I remember about it, my google-fu has been lacking. So, I now turn to residents of SD.net for some help. The comic was done in black and white with a medieval fantasy setting. The main character is an anti-hero on a path of redemption. In a pivotal scene he rejects his chance at said redemption to save some people (I think they were his companions). I don't really remember much more than that. I know it's not much to go on but I'd appreciate any help.
