Songs that "Pluck" your heart-strings?

What are the songs that for some reason or other, affect you emotionally strongly?
For me it's: "
What a Wonderful world" (Both due to the intrinsic nature of the song itself, and it being used at the end of my Service year).
"
Across the Universe" - For some reason the lines "Nothing's gonna change my world" really get me me.
"Hope/Hatikva" (Israeli anthem) - normally doesn't do anything for me, but there were 4 occasions in my life, all in the same week when it was very meaningful (All during the same week, in Poland).
"Can you feel the love tonight" (Elton John, or the LK version) - yeah, it's a lovey dovey song, but it's cute
.
"Yellow Submarine" - Brings to mind England for some reason (Associative).
"Imagine" - The message affects me, although there isn't much of an emotional impact.

Livin' on a Prayer by Bon Jovi affects me, especially when I'm singing it with a bunch of my friends when we're out. It's My Life by Bon Jovi is also one of those songs.
Somebody's Watching Me by Rockwell featuring Michael Jackson affects me, not so much my heart strings though. Just makes me really paranoid.

Blue Oyster Cult - "Don't Fear the Reaper"
"Scarborough Fair"
America - "Horse With No Name"
Hans Zimmer - "Leave No Man Behind"
I know there's a few others that really get me sometimes which I can't recall at the moment. Damn my memory.

"Hatikva" again, and "Kilkelly" by The Green Fields of America spring to mind. There are probably more, but I can't think of them right now.

Definitely the Blue Oyster cult song, although that's also because they used it as the opening song for the tv miniseries "The Stand", and it's picked up that mental association.
"Pictures of You" by a band whose name I can't remember.
"The Unforgiven II" by Metallica.

The Cure!
I would have to say that there's a bit of a list here:
Picture of You - The Cure
Just Like Heaven - The Cure
Jerry - Mustard Plug
More Than Yesterday - Mustard Plug
Eyes on Me - Faye Wong
Blue - Yoko Kanno
Long and Winding Road - The Beatles
Still Fighting It - Ben Folds Five

Armor and Sword (Rush). Weird story there... I first heard it when I was reading Glasshouse, and it somehow became stuck in my head as Robin's theme.
Chava's Song (Michael Hedges - instrumental). I'm pretty well convinced it's not possible to listen to this without tearing up.

Duh, I knew I forgot a big one:
Rolling Stones - "Paint it Black"

The entire Lurker of Chalice self-titled debut. It's enough to make even the most beloved and cherubic child turn into a shell of winterblasted angst and desolation.

One song that puts me in a retrospective mood and think about what once was is Arlo Guthrie's The City of New Orleans.
That song makes me feel as if I were born 50 years too late.

The Beatles- Let It Be
Led Zeppelin- Stairway to Heaven (my favorite song, obviously. It's the only song that I stop doing whatever I'm doing to listen to. I love it)
Led Zeppelin- Since I've been Loving You (The Song Remains the Same take)
Yes- Give Love Each Day (I just found this one, so it may not count just yet)
The Beatles- Yesterday
The Beatles- In My Life
Pink Floyd- Brain Damage/ Eclipse (nothing scares me more than lobotomy)
Pink Floyd- The Narrow Way (Part III) is the only song I've ever skipped because it made me nervous)
The Beatles- For the Benefit of Mr. Kite! (Love version) is freaky, for some reason.
James Taylor- Fire and Rain (most depressing song ever? maybe)
America- Sister Golden Hair
A vote for whatever that song is in the Gears of War commercial, too.

what no "Candle in the Wind" or "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road"?
and when the tigers broke free is a much sadder Pink Floyd song...

I forgot about Candle In the Wind.
I haven't heard When the Tigers Broke Free, actually, but I wasn't shooting for sad: The Narrow Way (Part III) and Brain Damage/Eclipse are both very creepy. It occurs to me that may not have been the intention of the OP, however, for which I apologize.

I have to second "Don't fear the reaper"
there's more, but those come first to mind.
