Who is this character?

In the upper right, whose huge face is that?

ALSO, who is that between Grod and Poison Ivy? Looks a little like Scarecrow, but he's already there.

Nope; Wonder Woman, and occasionally The Atom.

She was part of the Legion of Doom on The Super Friends, and the image is specifically from DC's recent Justice limited series, which Alex Ross in involved for both writing and art.

Yeah, I plan on buying the series soon. "Kingdom Come" was probably my favorite comic of all time, so Ross has won me over.

Good stuff.

He's over-rated. Any painter worth their salt can do photorealism, and most comic book artists could draw it as well. Ross has become famous for being the guy without a style of his own. :P

I wasn't really familiar with his work before this thread, but after surfing around on http://www.alexrossart.com/ , I have to agree some of his work is fantastic. He really captures the essence of the character(s) he's painting.

If by "way better" you mean "more photo realistic", then yes I suppose that's true.

But you aren't going to argue with me that the quality of a comic book's art is proportionate with how photo realistic it is... right?

Parasite. The pinky-purply color gives it away. You should know who it is after Arion Showed you him in that alt-future described in "Camelot Falls".

Who is it way in the back visible between Grod and the Parasite?
By the pricking of my thumb,
Something wicked this way comes.

Does Cheeta have a really tall head, or are her eyes where the mask's nose is? Or what? It looks weird to me.

Also, on a slightly related note, I saw Amazo in a Batman comic recently (The Red Hood intro one). I must say I far prefer the Timmverse version.

EDIT: Which is to say, the design. I don't know about the comic history of it, other than he was basically all "RAR SMASH!" in that one.

Like a child at Halloween, her mask is riding high up on her forehead, with facepaint dabbed over her real nose and mouth. The cheetah's jaw is hiding her eyes.

Thanks for the list, MR! Now I know. And I was referring to Toyman, I do actually know who Parasite is.

And what the crap are you talking about;

Ah, well I had a list of the people in that image lying around so I figured I'd just post it.

Read Action Comics #844 to the current issue, and you'll find that I'm not talking about the movie.
